Federal Reserve Proposed Guidance on Sound Incentive Compensation Policies

On October 22, 2009, the Federal Reserve announced intentions to focus supervisory attention on the incentive compensation arrangements of more than 6,800 banking organizations. The full text of the proposed guidance can be found here.

 

Federal Reserve Governor Daniel K. Tarullo gave a speech on November 2, 2009, that provides some additional insights regarding the Fed's intentions.
